Following the introduction of the new EURO 6 standards the use of AdBlue® within the heavy vehicle industry is set to increase. For spill free bulk transfer of AdBlue®, TODO® recommend the use of the 2″ and 3″ range of TODO-MATIC® Dry Break® couplings.
The Quality Assurance Guidance Document of CEFIC*, AUS 32 according to DIN 70070, paragraph 8.4 states “…foolproof connections must be employed so as to minimize the possibility of mistakes and contamination.”
The TODO-MATIC® Dry Break® system offers just that. Besides the safety beneﬁts and the foolproof design the couplings also provide an easy, quick and environmentally friendly solution.
For these reasons leading manufacturers of AdBlue® have chosen to install the 2″ TODO-MATIC® Dry Break® couplings on tanks between 4.000 – 10.000 litre and the 3″ couplings on larger tanks. The 3” TODO-MATIC® Dry Break® couplings is also used for loading/unloading distribution tank trucks.

• Minimal residual loss on disconnection (e.g. maximum 0.35cc for 2” DN50).
